Not the expected result for Nouns

Nouns eliminated from PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR

No Nouns stickers for the first CS2 major.

Nouns are the second North American team to exit the Americas RMR today, following NRG. Nouns were defeated by Legacy in a three map affair after the NA squad won the first map of the series.

Nouns exit the RMR with a 0-2 record and only one single map win; Vertigo against Legacy. The Brazilians survive Day 2 and will keep fighting for a chance to reach the Major in Copenhagen.

Nouns' campaign started against FURIA, a tough matchup. In that BO1 map, FURIA had a great CT-side on Inferno, which made things extremely difficult for Nouns come the second half. Having to reverse a 10-2 deficit proved to be too much and FURIA sent Nouns to the 0-1 bracket with a 13-9 finish.

The 0-1 BO3 elimination series against Legacy started off with a solid showing on Vertigo, as Nouns won that map 13-9, on the back of a good T-side. Going into Overpass, Legacy showed up refreshed and didn't give Nouns any chance to contest the map, taking the 13-4 win. Inferno was just like the FURIA matchup, with Nouns going into halftime with a 10-2 deficit and, despite clawing back, not able to reverse it. 13-7 was the final result, as Nouns leave Monterrey earlier than expected.
