roeJ on sticker money: "In Antwerp, we got maybe $260,000 per man"
Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen recently went on the Bootcamp podcast where he discussed his pro career, including the money he made from stickers.
roeJ said that he typically made about 25,000 kroner/month (~$3600), but for the Antwerp major, the Copenhagen Flames team made about 1.8 million kroner per player (~$260,000).
While the monthly salary might not be the most extravagant, qualification for a Major can set up a team for a much more comfortable financial future.
roeJ is also embroiled in a lawsuit against Gamin Gladiators, alleging that the Canadian organization wrongfully terminated the Danish players' contracts.
The Dane retired earlier this month and has since moved on to work for UNCORE, a talent agency founded by his former Copenhagen Flames coach Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg.
