Chicken Coop reach fundraising goal to bring Kazakh coach to FRAG Vegas
NA ESL Challenger League team Chicken Coop have announced that their fundraiser to bring Kazakh coach Rustam "5TRYK#R" Älımqūlov to Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXP Vegas has reached its goal of $1,500 after three days thanks to the support of 21 donors. With this, the underdog ECL team will be able to field their coach at the massive 31-team LAN featuring the likes of Complexity, M80, and NIP among many other teams of note.
The support for Chicken Coop came from all from the NA scene, with a wide range of players, casters, organizations, and fans helping pay for 5TRYK#R's flight to Las Vegas.
Top donors that greatly helped the fundraiser to be a success include Fragadelphia's Kasey "Bonamant" Anderson who offered $415 to the team, Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa with a $100 donation, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem with two $50 donations, Mason "Lake" Sanderson with a $100 donation, and Brian "Floofys" Levy with a $50 donation.
Overall, the effort is a great example of the NA community coming together to support a team in the scene achieve their goals, especially as it will be the first LAN tournament for the Chicken Coop squad.
