siuhy has been on MOUZ's bench since January

Media: Liquid locked in talks with MOUZ over siuhy

Liquid wants to sign siuhy to free Twistzz of the IGL duties.

Liquid is actively trying to bring the Polish IGL Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek before the BLAST.tv Austin Major, according to a report by Milan "Striker" Švejda of HLTV. Should the deal goes through, siuhy is expected to undergo a three-month trial period in Liquid, which will last until the end of the Austin Major.

According to the report, siuhy would replace the Australian rifler Justin "jks" Savage in Liquid. The arrival of siuhy would also free Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken of his current in-game leadership responsibilities, allowing the Canadian star to focus more on his individual play.

siuhy has been inactive since January 2025, when MOUZ benched him and promoted Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin to IGL. MOUZ are doing just fine without their former IGL, while Liquid have struggled to make deep runs so far this year. Twistzz and co. only reached playoffs once, at ESL Pro League Season 21.

The deal could be finalized by the end of this week, which would allow Liquid to use siuhy in the upcoming PGL Bucharest 2025, which kicks off on April 6th. This change would make Liquid go from a split between Americas and Asia to one between Americas and Europe in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

This, however, won't affect Liquid's regional assignment for the Austin Major. Teams are assigned to the region that guarantees them an invite further into the Major. Liquid sit at the top of the Americas VRS and there's no way paiN, FURIA, MIBR, or Wildcard overtake them at this point as the invite deadline for the Austin Major is on April 7th.

According to our sister website Dust2.dk, Liquid will also part ways with the head coach Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg. Should all these changes go through, the Liquid roster should be:

Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic
Canada Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak
Guy "NertZ" Iluz
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek
