Breaking: Perseverance disqualified from ECL, banned from EFG competitions for two months
In a shock ruling handed down by ESL today, Perseverance from been disqualified from ESL Challenger League Season 48 and barred from all ESL FACEIT Group competitions for the next two months due to falsifying a rescheduling request in ESL Challenger League.
While ESL's announcement is light on details, the consequences are quite tangible as the team's suspension will see Collin "CoJoMo" Moren and co. lose their spot in ESL Challenger League Season 48 while also being barred from competing in the qualifiers for IEM Rio, ESL Challenger Atlanta, and ESL Challenger Katowice.
The team's ban from EFG competitions comes less than a week after Perseverance acquired Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez from FLUFFY AIMERS and a little over a month after the Canadian organization acquired the lineup from Take Flyte.
