Getting Info close ranks with FaNg and SEMPHIS
Getting Info's in-game leader Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly has confirmed to Dust2.us that the team have added former Party Astronauts player Justin "FaNg" Coakley and former Nouns coach Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, seeing the team commit to a set quartet for the first time since the roster initially formed at the start of the year.
Getting Info's road to a stable roster has been a bumpy one, with the team lineup forming at the start year while reporting by Dust2.us suggested the squad was in discussions to join TSM. The roster at this time was helmed by returning VALORANT player Anthony "vanity" Malaspina while also featuring former BOSS player Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas.
d4rty was the first player to get the axe, with all parties declining to offer comment on his departure at the team. Shortly thereafter, Getting Info locked in the addition of Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly while being spotted playing with Gage "Infinite" Green, Derek "dare" Brown, and Dylan "slump" Naylor in various events.
In late February another significant change would come to Getting Info as in-game leader Anthony "vanity" Malaspina announced his retirement from competition, leading nosraC to take the reins while the squad picked up Shane "shane" Dressler to replace the former Chaos player. During this time Getting Info were also using Derek "dare" Brown alongside shane in ESL Challenger League Season 49 in order to hold the former timbermen slot.
Despite being a former teammate of Deni "dea" Ediev, nosraC, and shane, dare never claimed a permanent spot on the Getting Info squad, with FaNg seemingly brought in to finalize the squad. FaNg's addition to Getting Info sees the 22-year-old Canadian return to action following the implosion of Party Astronauts in mid-February amidst a war of words over who was to blame for the team relationship breaking down.
As for SEMPHIS, he has been working with Nouns as a Performance Coach and Content Creator since April 2024, roles he will presumably retain while helping Getting Info.
While nosraC confirmed the additions, he did not respond to a request for comment on the overall status of the team or whether the team is still on talks with TSM, however it is safe to say it is unlikely as the roster as it was understood players like vanity were a key reason for TSM's interest.
Getting Info now officially consist of:
-
Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado
-
Deni "dea" Ediev
-
Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
-
Shane "shane" Dressler
-
Justin "FaNg" Coakley

FaNg already debuted with Getting Info last night against Nouns in ESL Challenger League Season 49. The team's next match will be against Fisher College on March 27th.
