launders and Rivalry return with $10k CAD prizepool Toronto LAN
Rivalry Canada and Mohan "launders" Govindasamy have announced launders LAN, a Toronto-based CS2 event which is set to serve as a follow-up and successor to last month's FragFest Toronto. Building off of the success of FragFest, launders LAN has been upgraded to be a two-day, 32-team LAN featuring an improved prizepool of $10,000 CAD (about $7.4k USD) all hosted by launders in a venue that can hold up to 600 people.
launders LAN is set to run from April 20th to the 21st and will hopefully give more teams the chance to sign up, as the previous event sold out quickly. Overall, the return of an event to Toronto is a great sign for NA _CS2_as more and more LANs have popped up all over the continent. With that in mind, however, it is worth noting that the event is in competition with Fragadelphia Miami as launders LAN is a week after said event. However, with the events ~1,500 miles away from each other, the chance of spillover is unlikely.
While a signup link has yet to be created for the event, interested teams can join Rivalry Canada's Discord for more details.
