Dust2 is the best map for AWPers; see the top AWPers in the last 12 months

Even though the AWP is essential on almost every map, especially on CT-side, certain maps are tailored-made for AWPers to get opening kills or a lot of action.

News outlet Pley.gg dug up statistics from the top AWPers in the past 12 months, and found out that Dust2 stands out from the rest of the maps in the rotation.

This research made by Pley.gg only took into consideration the AWPers from the highest-ranked teams who stayed the past 12 months playing on the same team.

So, the pool of players is down to just Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut (Vitality), Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (G2), Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov (Natus Vincere), Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov (Spirit), Helvijs "broky" Saukants (FaZe), Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás (MOUZ), Özgür "woxic" Eker (Eternal Fire), Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch (The MongolZ), Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo (FURIA), and Lucas "nqz" Soares (paiN).

Curiously, ZywOo doesn't make top three in any of the maps, which goes to show how much he plays with rifles in comparison to other top AWPers.

According to Pley.gg's findings, these are the best maps to use the AWP and the top AWPers per map. Train was left out because the map doesn't have enough data yet.
