ESL and BLAST reveal their events for 2027

Tournament organizers ESL and BLAST have revealed their event schedules for 2027 on January 27th. While ESL is planning to host seven CS2 events in 2027, BLAST has committed to host six.

Besides that, ESL also unveiled Poland as the location for its first 2026 event. This caught the attention of fans as ESL didn't specify whether or not the tournament would take place in the historic Katowice.

HLTV reached out to Marc Winther, ESL's Director of Game Ecosystems for Counter-Strike, and he explained why ESL just announced Poland.

"We usually only announce the exact city and venue until closer to the event, however in order to be compliant with the new requirements as set out by Valve, we're releasing the country now which should be seen as the minimum requirement," Winther said.

As of lately, Valve has been enforcing the new rules that concern event locations. The location of the event must be informed a year in advance for tier-one tournaments.

• PGL Event: January 13th-25th

• ESL Event: January 25th-February 7th

• ESL Event: February 25th-March 14th

• BLAST Open: March 17th-28th

• ESL Event: April 3rd-11th

• ESL Event: May 1st-9th

• BLAST Open: May 12th-23th

• 1st Major: May 31th- June 20th

• ESL Event: August 2nd-15th

• ESL Event: September 16th-October 3rd

• BLAST Open: October 6th-17th

• ESL Event: October 30th-November 7th

• BLAST Rivals: November 10th-14th

• 2nd Major: November 22th-December 12th
