MIGHT top ESEA Advanced Season 52 regular season, secure top seed for playoffs

ESL Advanced Season 52 has just wrapped up and the playoffs are right around the corner. The top 24 teams from the regular season will advance to a BO3 double-elimination bracket, leading to a BO5 grand final.

The squads will fight for one of four spots in ESL Challenger League.

MIGHT will be the favorites to go all the way. They finished the regular season with a near-flawless 13-1 record, losing only to LML. Armed with experience in the form of Jonathan "djay" Dallal, Logan "Voltage" Long, and Ryan "Snakes" Amann, this team has their sights on a return to ECL for their core, with newcomers Nolan "Louie" Herges and Jared "jared" habib trying to make their first appearance in ESL Challenger League.

Tsunami are a hungry team who have had strong showings in previous iterations of Advanced, and will be looking to get over the hump this season to secure their spot in ECL.

Fisher College are one to keep an eye on as well. They have a few European imports, Swede Alexander "AleKS" Andersson, Dutchman Nils "ReFuZR" Groot, and Belgian Milan "CrePoW" Libbrecht, alongside Americans Matthew "tatm" Munro and Tommy "corn" Eckhart.

Mythic were relegated from ESL Challenger League in their previous stint, and will be aiming to make a triumphant return to the competition. Erik "fl0m" Flom leads the squad of North American content creators, including longstanding Mythic members Austin "Cooper" Abadir and Cooper "Trucklover86" Phelps. The lineup is rounded out by newcomers Austin "Austin" Meadows and Joey "hyza" Cornelius.

A darkhorse team to look our for is Wanted Goons. The lineup made some noise at FRAG x Block 2025 and had a very close game against ECL team Marsborne.
