M80 rolls past paiN to go to 2-0 in ESL Pro League S21

Everyone was locked in today.

M80's confident 2-0 victory against paiN today was relatively painless, giving the NA roster three straight chances to advance to stage two of ESL Pro League Season 21.

M80 was in firm control of the entire series, comfortably waking their own map pick of Anubis, and putting up an even more dominant showing on paiN's pick of Mirage. After a 3-1 lead on Mirage, paiN's momentum was stopped in its tracks, as the Brazilian team had no answer for a sensational Elias "s1n" Stein today.

Aside from the surprisingly excellent TYLOO team, M80 is the only team to not drop a single map after two rounds. M80 also boasts the highest round differential of any stage one team, at +21. Following the win today, Michael "Swisher" Schmid told the desk that Mason "Lake" Sanderson's increased vocal presence has been a major focal point in the team's strong showing.

With two confident wins in hand, it's time for M80 to look ahead to their next opponent and secure a spot in stage two.

M80 has drawn SAW, who are debuting new international imports at this event, in round three.
