Wildcard charge past Marsborne in BLAST.tv Austin Major NA MRQ Group B Opener

Wildcard are now one win away from returning to the Major.

Wildcard have won their opening match of the BLAST.tv Austin Major NA MRQ in dominant fashion, smashing Marsborne 2-0 to put the team on a comfortable path to making the second Major in the organization's history.

Nuke: World Wildcard 13-10 Marsborne United States

In the first and only competitive map of the series, Marsborne started their T-side in the driver's seat with five rounds in a row before Wildcard got into gear and answered back by winning six out of the seven rounds to tie things 6-6 at halftime. With the two teams locked in a dead heat Wildcard began the process of breaking the stalemate by winning the first two rounds of their T-side before Love "phzy" Smidebrant led his team with 10 kills and a 1.56 rating to see Wildcard win Nuke 13-10.

Inferno: World Wildcard 13-2 Marsborne United States

After a close game on Nuke, Inferno ended up being something of a "non-event" with Wildcard completely in control during the entire map. After winning their T-side 10-2 Wildcard would post a perfect CT-side to win the map 13-2 and thus come one step closer to returning to the Major.
