Three-time Major champion steps away from CEO role at organization
Jesper "JW" Wecksell is no longer the CEO of EYEBALLERS, the Swedish organization he co-founded alongside Robin "flusha" Rönnquist in 2022. The three-time CS:GO Major champion has paused his role as CEO to focus solely on his obligations as the IGL of the team for the time being.
With this change, all "organizational, sports, and commercial matters" at EYEBALLERS will now be handled by acting CEO Nicklas “nicke111” Andersson. The Swede currently is the Head of Partnerships at Black Molly Entertainment AB and has been a "driving force behind EYEBALLERS" since flusha and JW relaunched the organization in 2022.
It remains to be seen whether this move will be enough to improve EYEBALLERS's performance on the server. JW and his men currently sit in the 107th position in the Valve Ranking System (VRS).
They lost to AMKAL in CCT Season 2 Euroe Series 16 Closed Qualifier and to Johnny Speeds in Subway Suberior League Winter 2025 since EYEBALLERS announced the change on January 17th.
