Report: New organization set to enter CS with roster based around motm, WolfY
Dust2.us has learned from multiple sources that a new organization is set to enter the NA Counter-Strike 2 scene with a roster consisting of experienced NA ECL players. The new organization, Marsborne, is reportedly set to unveil a new roster consisting of Undone duo Ian "motm" Hardy and Connor "chop" Sullivan alongside Marshall "Minus" Sedowicz, Adam "WolfY" Andersson, and Adam "Grizz" Golden while former FaZe and FURIA analyst Hunter "Lucid" Tucker will be taking over as head coach.
Dust2.us understands that the creation of this roster was spurred on by roster issues facing the Undone lineup which recently qualified to ESL Challenger League Season 49. Following the departure of Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk to Complexity, the team reportedly suffered two more defections as Josh "steel" Nissan shifted his focus back to broadcast work while Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham stepped down to focus on streaming — notably committing to Michael "shroud" Grzesiek's charity livestream event called Fragathon in early January.
With steel and Skadoodle out of the picture, Undone reportedly initially set their sights on ex-FLUFFY AIMERS duo Brett "brett" Rhein and Dylan "slump" Naylor, however those talks seemingly broke down once Minus approached motm and chop with the opportunity of being signed to an organization himself, Grizz, and WolfY were actively in talks with at the same time.
This organization, Marsborne, is understood to be a new project that also involves Minus' older brother, Matthew Sedowicz, who will be taking the reins of general manager. The elder Sedowicz brother has esports experience dating back to 2014 when he managed the FGC divisions for organizations including Noble, Elevate, and Denial, although he has seemingly been away from esports for some time until recently.
Dust2.us reached out to Sedowicz, who confirmed the existence of the Marsborne organization and their intentions to sign the previously reported roster. However, he was unable to share more details about the organization pending an official announcement by the new venture.
Marsborne's decision to sign motm and chop have the added benefit of allowing the team to inherit Undone's slot in ECL S49, although they will have to use a substitute for the first eight games to retain the spot. The formation of this new lineup will see Minus, WolfY, and Grizz all return to ECL and top NA competition more generally.
Dust2.us previously reported on Minus' mental health struggles, with the 21-year-old player saying he's eager to return to competition in 2025. WolfY, meanwhile, has been out of the mix for some time after stepping down from Party Astronauts in August 2024 while Grizz just recently returned to active duty at the end of 2024.
Marsborne are reportedly set to consist of:

-
