Hepa will be working with FalleN and sidde in 2025

Former EG coach joins FURIA; Lucid exits team after six months

FURIA have continued to shuffle their coaching staff in 2025.

FURIA have announced a change in their coaching staff, seeing former FaZe and Liquid analyst Hunter "Lucid" Tucker leave the team while former Evil Geniuses and Liquid analyst Juan "Hepa" Borges has joined the Brazilian squad as an assistant coach for 2025. Hepa's addition is the latest change in FURIA's international coaching staff after parting ways with former FaZe analyst Viacheslav 'innersh1ne" Britvin at the end of 2024.

According to FURIA's post on their "The Move" account, Lucid has stepped down from the Brazilian organization to take on a head coaching role with another organization. This move seemingly created an opening for Hepa to jump in and join Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo for the 2025 season.

As previously mentioned, Hepa has a strong resume with stints at Evil Geniuses, Liquid, and Movistar Riders. The Spaniard had been on the lookout for a new home for more than a year after Evil Geniuses exited CS2 at the end of 2023.

FURIA are now:

  • Brazil Yuri "yuurih" Boian

  • Brazil Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato

  • Brazil Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo

  • Brazil Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes

  • Brazil Felipe "skullz" Medeiros

  • Brazil Sidnei "sidde" Macedo (Coach)

  • Juan "Hepa" Borges (Assistant Coach)

It is currently unknown where Lucid is heading, with his experience suggesting both domestic and international roles are on the table. On the domestic front it is worth pointing out that the only notable team in search of a coach is the reported TSM roster, who are yet to formally announce their new roster.
