NuTorious win Chicken Coop New Year's Cash Cup

NuTorious were crowned the champions of the $1,000 Chicken Coop New Year's Cash Cup on January 12th. The ESEA Advanced team ran away with the title after winning two best-of-ones and two best-of-threes.

NuTorious got a Bye in the first round and proceeded to defeat Waterboarding Fan Club, Immigrants Peek, and Chicken Coop in best-of-one matches.

The all-American squad carried the momentum for the best-of-threes and swept both MIGHT and Aether in the semifinals and grand finals, respectively, to win the Chicken Coop New Year's Cash Cup.

Ethan was the standout player for NuTorious across the best-of-threes as he top-fragged in both series. The 21-year-old dropped 41 kills in the 2-0 victory versus MIGHT and shined once again in the 2-0 win versus Aether, dropping 39 kills.
