Complexity one of many teams likely to skip YaLLa Compass Qatar due to MRQ schedule
Complexity may have qualified for YaLLa Compass Qatar in flawless fashion, but the NA team is one of several teams that almost certainly won't be competing at the main event in Doha.
Complexity, alongside four other EU teams that qualified for the event, will likely have to skip the tournament as it runs at the same time as the BLAST.tv Austin Major's Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQs)
Complexity has a chance to potentially pass M80 in the Americas Major Rankings and move up to 5th. Doing so would result in automatic qualification for Stage 2 of the Major, meaning they would not need to compete at the MRQ and could attend the YaLLa LAN.
Despite winning all five best-of-ones, including a 13-0 win over Imperial Valkyries, HLTV has them projected to finish just a few points behind M80, meaning a trip to the MRQ will be necessary for Complexity to reach the Austin Major.
According to the projected HLTV rankings for Europe, Astralis, BetBoom, Nemiga, ENCE, and 9 Pandas will all also need to skip YaLLa to compete in the MRQs.
As for Complexity, even though it seems they will fall short of getting to skip the MRQ, they have performed well against Americas competition recently. This run they've been on even includes wins against Wildcard and BLUEJAYS, who will likely join them at the NA MRQ.
