M80 qualify to PGL Astana 2025 over BLUEJAYS

M80 won the PGL Astana 2025 North America Closed Qualifier after besting BLUEJAYS in the best-of-five grand finals on Tuesday, April 1st. The win sees the squad led by Elias "s1n" Stein qualify for the $1,250,000 Kazakhstani event, which will feature heavy hitters such as Spirit, The MongolZ, Natus Vincere, and Eternal Fire.

Even though M80 won the series, it was BLUEJAYS who won the first map. They picked Train and defeated M80 by 13-10.

BLUEJAYS also had a great shot at winning Dust2, but M80 forced overtime and carried on the momentum to tie the series.

The remaining maps, Ancient and Mirage, weren't as close as Dust2 but BLUEJAYS still put up a decent fight. Mason "Lake" Sanderson led the charge on Ancient with 20 kills, and Ethan "reck" Serrano and s1n combined for 45 frags on Mirage. Lake and Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich both got 74 frags across the four maps.
