Complexity finish YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 Qualifier undefeated
Complexity topped the group A of YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 Closed Qualifier in Europe with a clean 5-0 record. The campaign saw Johnny "JT" Theodosiou reach 11 straight victories as they also defeated everybody in the PGL Bucharest 2025 North America Closed Qualifier earlier this month.
Complexity faced 9 Pandas and Passion UA this Thursday, April 3rd, and won without too much trouble. They defeated Nemiga, Imperial Valkyries, and Metizport yesterday.
Complexity 13-5 9 Pandas
Complexity opted to play on Inferno, even though they were 0-3 in it this year. Nonetheless, the veto worked out just fine as they had a solid display on the CT-side to win the first half by 8-4, and lost only one round as Ts in the second half to wrap up the game. The Norwegian import Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli had the most impact as he dropped 21 kills.
Complexity 13-8 Passion UA
This time around, Complexity chose to play on Anubis, which has been a comfortable pick for them this year. The North Americans enjoyed a flying start on the T-side and practically sealed the match in the first half, winning by 9-3. Passion UA tried their best to come back on the T-side themselves; however, Complexity won the four rounds they needed thanks to a great collective effort.
Even though Complexity have qualified for the YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 main event, they'll certainly skip the event as it clashes with the North America Major Regional Qualifier (MRQ) dates for the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The Major cutoff is on April 7th and Complexity are currently 20 points away from M80 and the coveted Stage 2 invite, as per the new HLTV tool that tracks the Major race live.
Regardless, the Complexity camp will most likely celebrate their uptick in form after struggling in LAN tournaments at the start of the season. It remains to be seen whether they can carry this online form to LAN when they need it.
