siuhy joins Liquid on loan
MOUZ has loaned out the Polish IGL Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek to Liquid until the end of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, Liquid announced this Friday, April 4th.
The Australian rifler Justin "jks" has been benched to make space for siuhy's arrival and the roster change will also relieve Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken of the in-game leadership duties. The Canadian star spent the last eight months as the IGL and most notably led Liquid to the Perfect World Shanghai Major quarterfinals.
However, Liquid's results in 2025 have been fairly inconsistent despite the addition of Guy "NertZ" Iluz. The team are yet to make a deep run on LAN, and only reached playoffs once thus far.
Liquid certainly hopes that the team will play better against top opponents now that they'll have more firepower combined with siuhy's leadership. The Pole was in charge of MOUZ when they won ESL Pro League Season 18 and 19, and BetBoom Dacha 2024 between 2023 and 2024.
siuhy will have some rust to take off as he's been inactive since January when MOUZ benched him and promoted Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin to IGL. MOUZ kept playing just as well, if not better, and making deep runs without siuhy, so the Pole should be motivated to prove he's a top IGL.
Liquid will play their first match under siuhy at PGL Bucharest 2025, which starts this Sunday, April 6th. Liquid will face Legacy in the opening round on Sunday, 09:00AM.
Liquid's lineup for PGL Bucharest 2025 is as follows:
Keith "NAF" Markovic
Russel " Twistzz" Van Dulken
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak
Guy "NertZ" Iluz
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek
Jay "DeMars DeRover" Li (Interim coach)
