Supernova Comets qualify for ESL Impact Finals

Supernova Comets have secured their top-2 finish in ESL Impact League Season 7 with one game still to play. The Comets are 6-0 and could secure the top spot in the league with a victory in their final match against black mold.

Supernova Comets have been utterly dominant thus far in ESL Impact League this season. The team has not dropped a single map on the road to qualification for the global finals in Dallas.

Supernova Comets players make up three of the top ten players in ESL Impact League NA. Lydia “Fawx” Dalton and Lucy “empathy” Verkaik are the top two best players with ratings of 1.63 and 1.61 respectively. The other Comet in the top ten is the seventh-ranked Wrenna “stx” Trampel who is at a 1.29 rating.

The biggest feather in Supernova Comets’ cap came from their match against perennial Impact League heavyweight FlyQuest Red. SN Comets defeated them by a score of 2-0, led by Fawx and empathy who both registered absurd ratings of 1.52 against the second-best team in ESL Impact NA.
