Counter-Strike co-creator joins HLTV Awards show
One of CS' founding fathers will be joining the show in Belgrade.
HLTV have announced that one of Counter-Strike's co-creators, Minh "Gooseman" Le is set to attend their fourth annual HLTV Awards Show and present one of the awards in Belgrade. The Vietnamese-Canadian video game programmer created the original Half-Life Counter-Strike mod alongside Jess Cliffe in 1999, with the duo going on to work at Valve for a number of years to help develop Counter-Strike into the game we know and love today.
While Le has for many years not been directly involved with the development of the Counter-Strike series, he is a massively important part of its history and still comments from time to time on the state of the game.
