Falcons suffer fantastic stumble in first round v. FaZe in PGL Cluj-Napoca semi-final
Falcons will want to quickly forget their first pistol round on Dust2 v. FaZe in this semi-final.
The round started perfectly for them, putting FaZe in a dismal-looking 2v5 on the infamously hard-to-retake B bombsite.
David "frozen" Čerňanský and Håvard "rain" Nygaard were the final two standing FaZe members. The retake began with rain and frozen finding two quick frags. frozen tapped the bomb to force a peek from the three remaining Falcons players, taking down one of them in the process.
Emil "Magisk" Reif and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač were left to right the ship for Falcons against rain and frozen. frozen stuck the defuse, but Falcons were nervous about another fake. rain fell while protecting his comrade but Magisk and NiKo couldn't find frozen before he completed the defuse.
Falcons' blushes would be spared, however, as they won the map and the series 2-0 over FaZe despite this embarrassing round. Falcons will face MOUZ in the grand final of PGL Cluj-Napoca tomorrow at 11:00AM.
