Legacy rising, E-Xolos stabilizing, LAG declining? | ECL S48 Roundup Day 21
Nouns are stuck falling further and further away from the top seed in the upcoming playoffs with their six-point leader over Party Astronauts looking weaker and weaker as matches go on. The bottom half of the board is settling down s E-Xolos LAZER has 27 points out of 18 matches and are leading the bottom half of the pack which includes teams like timbermen, BOSS, and Mythic.
FLUFFY AIMERS 2-0 LAG
Last night, LAG and FLUFFY AIMERS could not have been any closer. The two sides needed three overtimes in two separate maps to decide the winners. The two got started on Mirage, with both sides nearly completely equal throughout. Equal halves forced the two to go to overtime, where the AIMERS eventually took the lead and closed it out 16-14.
As for the next map of Vertigo, it was slightly different at each side got seven rounds on their CT-side in a very back-and-forth match. However, it was once again the AIMERS who came away with the win after a stronger double-overtime performance.

Legacy 2-0 Nouns
It was a big match between the two titans of domestic North American competition. Nouns and Legacy need all the points they can get if they want to be able to chase the tails of Wildcard and NRG, while also hoping that M80 slip up at some point. As for the games last evening, it was Legacy that ended up proving to the winner of both. The Brazilians got things started with a strong T-side on Ancient and then were just able to hold Nouns at bay to come away with a 13-10 win. Mirage was a bit easier for them as they had a similarly dominate CT-side and use that 8-4 lead to come away with a 13-7 win.

It wasn't a good night for the tree-haters as the Brazilians sliced and diced their way through the American squad. It was a quick opening match as E-Xolos took the lead on the T-side of Ancient before cruising to an easy 13-8 win to grab the first of two maps in the night. The second match went even quicker as the Brazilians grabbed an 8-4 first half lead before they used their strong T-side to bring home a 13-6 victory on mirage.
