DETONATE part ways with Season 50 lineup

After almost three months, the two parties have split to pursue new opportunities.

DETONATE have announced the departure of their Counter-Strike 2 roster, seeing Alexander "sasha" Burke and co. leave the Atlanta-based organization after a little less than three months after they signed the former regain core.

According to DETONATE's announcement, the organization elected to part ways with the team after reflecting on its foundation and longevity and concluding that it would be in all parties' best interests to part ways and pursue their options ahead of Season 51.

The lineup's time under DETONATE was modestly successful, with the squad finishing ESEA Advanced Season 50 in 9th - 12th place, however further success was likely impacted by multiple roster changes, with Raymon "rayxts" Mando being acquired by LAG while the team also replaced Halen "Halen" Lang mid-season.

Sasha told Dust2.us that the majority of the lineup plans on sticking together and aiming to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 51 under the regain tag. DETONATE, meanwhile, has stated its plans to return to CS2 in the near future.

DETONATE consisted of:

  • United States Alexander "sasha" Burke

  • United States Eric "Zucar" Zuccaro

  • United States Nikolaos "PoseidoNN" Antoniou

  • United States Andrew "dvrk" Brunken

  • United States John "hunger" Rogel
