Complexity, once again, fall to MOUZ at a LAN
It's really just getting ridiculous at this point. Complexity has no answer to MOUZ at a LAN event. These European kids continue to crush the Americans in 2024 as this marks the fourth time that MOUZ have won in the series in their head to head battles. It is really a brutal step for Complexity who are now headed to the losers bracket where they will have to face Liquid.
It looked like Complexity was going to have an easier time today with the veto as the Americans got their pick of Vertigo to start things off. Complexity got off to a hot start with five rounds in a row to take the early momentum, but that was pretty much all that they could do as MOUZ immediately responded with eleven rounds in a row before eventually stealing away their opponent's map pick 13-8.
Nuke was shaping up to be another brutal showing for Complexity as they have not won this map against MOUZ so far in 2024. Complexity surprisingly got out to a 6-2 start on their CT-side before MOUZ, once more, staged a comeback to tie it up at the half and then powered through on their own CT-side. Despite Complexity making it difficult for their European opponents, MOUZ were able to withstand the onslaught as they pulled out a 13-11 victory and sent Complexity down to the Losers' Bracket.
Complexity will now need to play Liquid tomorrow morning in order to stay alive in the competition if they have hopes of making it to the LANXESS Arena.
