Complexity and Mythic announce NA Revival Cup
Complexity have announced details for the NA Revival Cup, an online event co-hosted with Mythic after Jason Lake's NA Revival LAN was postponed to after IEM Dallas 2024. The NA Revival Cup, which will run in a format similar to previous Mythic Cups, will run from May 16th-18th and feature a $5k prizepool.
The announcement of a standalone Cash Cup in North America comes at a pivotal time for the scene, as it has been four months since ESEA's last Cash Cup in the region. With that, NA teams have had remarkably little to play online in the region, a harsh fact as the NA region has been in a relative purple patch of form recently.
In Complexity's X post, the organization hinted that there may be more events to follow. Whether that is a reference to the postponed LAN or future online events remains to be seen. Like most Mythic Cups, the NA Revival Cup features a one-day open qualifier to qualify two teams into the main event while six top NA teams have been directly invited to the event. Teams interested in playing the qualifier may sign up here.
