br0 delivers in stellar NRG debut at ECL NA S49
NRG have started their campaign in ESL Challenger Season 49 on the right foot. NRG had no trouble whatsoever in beating Alter Iron twice last night in two separate best-of-one matches. The former Astralis player Alexander "br0" Bro already showed his credentials in North America as he had a solid debut.
NRG and Alter Iron played their first best-of-one on Anubis and br0 delivered the goods. The 22-year-old shined with 21 kills, of which 16 were on the T-side, helping NRG absolutely dismantle Alter Iron's defense.
The 10 rounds NRG won on the T-side gave them much room to work with and they closed the map quickly after losing the first rounds to Alter Iron.

Dust2 was left over in the second best-of-one and this time around Alter Iron put up more of a fight against NRG as they won five rounds on their T-side during the first half.
However, NRG didn't waste their advantage and practically sealed the game with a powerful start on their T-side that netted them five rounds in a row. There wasn't much Alter Iron could do after that and NRG won after conceding a couple of rounds. Even though br0 wasn't as brilliant as he was on Anubis, he dropped 16 kills on Dust2.
