viz exits Party Astronauts for health reasons
Party Astronauts have announced that Wesley "viz" Harris has decided to step down from the team for personal health reasons, with the 22-year-old player leaving the team after a little over three months. viz's departure from PA comes after a mixed period for the orgless team, having finished ESL Challenger League Season 46 in third place just behind M80 and BOSS while more recently missing out on the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR after falling to Badass in a close 2-1 series.
More generally, Party Astronauts have seen mixed results after replacing long-time AWPer Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue with Adam "WolfY" Andersson. While the Swedish-American AWPer has performed well in his new home, the loss of viz as well is likely to shake things up once again for PA, with viz being a legacy player for the squad after four stints with the core over the past three years.
In PA's search for a new fifth, there is actually a current glut of former teammates out in free agency at the moment, with Brendan "Bwills" Williams, Brandon "bew" Roberts, and Jonathan "Jonji" Carey all being on the lookout for a new home.
Party Astronauts are now:
-
Ben "ben1337" Smith
-
Connor "chop" Sullivan
-
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
-
Adam "WolfY" Andersson
-
Luke "Viathan" Carstens (Coach)
Party Astronauts will need to find a new fifth ahead of their ESL Challenger League Season 47 debut against MIGHT on February 20th.
