Party Astronauts confirm WolfY addition

As first reported by Dust2.us, Party Astronauts have announced the addition of Adam "WolfY" Andersson, with the Swedish-American AWPer replacing long-time member Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue in the role. The AWPer left BOSS back on December 19th in preparation for this move, with his own spot on BOSS being taken by David "cynic" Polster.

The change in Party Astronauts' ranks comes off the back of the team's third-place finish in ESL Challenger League Season 46, where the team were knocked out just shy of an EPL spot by BOSS and somewhat ironically WolfY. Despite losing out on an EPL spot, PA have been in a strong run of form lately, with M80 and BOSS being the only teams they have struggled to best in the NA scene.

While the scene is still in the midst of the player break, PA are likely already getting to work with WolfY, as the orgless squad will look to make a splash with him in the PGL Major Copenhagen Major Americas RMR Closed Qualifier on January 12th. The team will need to bring their best form if they wish to be one of seven NA teams to make it to the RMR in Monterrey, Mexico. This would be the team's second RMR event, a major triumph for a core that has spent most of their career without organizational support.
