What to expect from Complexity v. NAVI
Tier one competition returns with the same protagonists it ended, at least for the North Americans. One of the last Complexity games at a tier one event was against NAVI and the Cowboys took the 2-1 win to reach the semifinals of the BLAST Premier Fall Final. That was only the first game between the two teams, who will be facing each other a lot during the start of 2024, starting today at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups.
Complex City
Complexity's situation is a bit complex. This is a squad that has reached the IEM Sydney grand final, and a BLAST Premier Fall Final semifinal; this is also a squad that failed to beat The Mongolz and ended last at Elisa Masters Espoo. During their good days, Complexity can beat anyone and during their bad days, they can fall as flat as a penny. Despite all of this, BLAST Premier Spring Groups is the start of the new year for tier one events and it is expected to see a lot of improvement from all teams.

Unbeaten NAVI (2024 edition)
NAVI has come swinging out of the gates. Although the team only has three recorded matches since the new year started, those matches paint a very scary story for Complexity. During the European RMR Closed Qualifier, NAVI did not lose a single map and even beat Virtus.pro 2-0 in a series where both maps went to overtime. It seems like the European squad has found its footing since the inconsistent start of this roster iteration.

Previous Matchups
As said previously, this is the second time these teams met in CS2. Complexity won the first series 2-1 during the BLAST Premier Fall Final quarterfinals after losing the first map. Complexity and NAVI will face each other at least one more time soon, as they are in the same group in ESL Pro League Season 19. There's also a chance they meet during IEM Katowice, as they are also in the same group.
