artStar reunites with EMUHLEET and rain on Karma

Carolyn "artStar" Noquez has joined Karma, seeing the 28-year-old reunite with Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido and Amanda "rain" Smith, whom she played with for a number of years on the highly successful Dignitas Female roster. The reunion sees artStar replace April "bungee" Haight on Karma after five months with the team, with the move coming as Karma prepares for ESL Impact League Season 5.

artStar's departure from her previous team, Hyperion, follows a fairly dismal performance during ESL Impact League Season 4, with the team failing to win a single map over the course of seven series. While artStar's own performance with Hyperion wasn't anything to write home about, it also came as she was making the transition back to CS:GO after three years in VALORANT.

Now in CS2, artStar and Karma will look to reassert themselves as one of the best squads in North American Impact scene after also falling short of expectations in Season 4, with the team finishing in fifth place outside of playoffs.
