Rebel drop team following eptima ban; timbermen reform with consti
Less than a week after being signed by Rebel, timbermen have been dropped by their organization in light of Jake "eptima" Allen's year-long malicious activity ban on ESEA, Dust2.us has confirmed. Additionally, timbermen have brought on former Rise player Kevin "consti" Yi as his replacement.
eptima's malicious activity ban comes as a result of "impersonating other players on the Rank G TeamSpeak and using racial slurs and trolling while the players are in game" according to ESEA community manager el_jack0.
In a now-deleted tweet and accompanying TwitLonger, eptima argues that he is undeserving of the ban and that the length is unjustified as he alleges other than impersonating Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien last weekend he never impersonated any other players, trolled during recent matches, or used racial slurs in the ESEA TeamSpeak.
This isn't timbermen's first time losing an organization due to their actions on the server, back in January the team were dropped by Polar Ace due to a history of ESEA bans for for infractions including malicious activity, racism, threatening, and numerous community conduct violations.
As a result, timbermen are now:
- Shane "shane" Dressler
- Derek "dare" Brown
- Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
- Kyle "KEL" Murray
- Kevin "consti" Yi
- "FLUSH" (Coach)
