Ace North American Masters open qualifier set to start this weekend

The winners of the main event will qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown in October.

Liga Ace have announced the North American Masters for the Fall season of 2023, with the open qualifier starting in two days. Four teams from the open qualifier will join four invitees in the usual BO1 GSL groups format followed by a BO3 single-elimination playoffs bracket. The eventual winner will qualify for the online BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, joining the likes of Complexity and Evil Geniuses.

The four teams already invited to the group stage of the North American Masters are Wildcard, Party Astronauts, Nouns, and Mythic. The remaining four participants will be determined in the open qualifier, and the group stage will begin on September 7th, concluding with the playoffs on September 10th.

Once the North American Masters have concluded, the winner will join Evil Geniuses and Complexity, who failed to qualify to the Fall Finals, three invitees - one of which is known to be Imperial - and the qualified teams of the South American and Asian qualifiers. Currently, the Asian qualifier is yet to happen, but Fake Natty, formerly 00 Nation, qualified via the South American TG Masters.

Teams interested in the NA Masters open qualifier can sign-up on Gamers Club here, which currently only has three registered participants; ClayMakers, Forsaken, and Hound. The qualifier will play out as a BO1 single-elimination bracket starting on August 26th, with qualification matches being BO3 and playing out on the 27th.
