Apeks undress Bikini Bottom Babes

The LCQ first seed didn't sweat at all coming into their first match, taking on Bikini Bottom Babes on the first map, Overpass. Richard "shox" Papillon and co. quickly dispatched of their opponents with some great reads, with Martin "STYKO" Styk typing in chat "we got 2 analysts", and Tim "nawwk" Jonasson chiming in, saying "read was insane".

After the pistol round, it was still smooth sailing for the international squad, taking a flawless second round. After a gun round victory, Justinas "jL" Lekavicius pulled out the auto-sniper and there was no chance for Bikini Bottom Babes as they lost round after round, picking up zero on their t-side half. Going into their ct-side, Bikini Bottom Babes were set on giving jL his first death, but were unfortunately unable to dispatch of the immortal as the Lithuanian finished the 16-0 game with 18 kills and no deaths.

Bikini Bottom Babes put on more of a fight on Mirage. Apeks did win their third consecutive pistol round and the second round that followed. Apeks strung together a few more until Bikini Bottom Babes took their first round of the series making Mirage a 1-4 game. That success wouldn't last long though, as Apeks quickly struck back and with a vengeance, taking another two rounds before Bikini Bottom Babes made another mark.

All in all, as rounds were traded back and forth, Apeks won out the half 10-5, not a great half for the Babes, but better than Overpass. Unfortunately, that's all that can be said as Apeks dominated their CT-side, winning it outright 16-5 and taking the series 2-0.

Apeks now move on to face their next opponent, the winner of Esoteric and InControl.
