BLAST reportedly secure their first Major

The Danish tournament organizer have seemingly locked in their first Major, with the French capital being the rumored destination.

Before even reaching Rio for the 18th CS:GO Major, we already have an idea of where the next iteration will take place. According to a report from Dexerto, BLAST will be hosting the Spring Major from May 8-21, with the city unconfirmed as of now but suggesting that Paris is the main priority. A trip to the City of Light would also mark another first, as France has never hosted a CS:GO Major before.

BLAST have become a staple of the Counter-Strike circuit since entering the scene half a decade ago. Well known for their high production qualities and standards, fans in the community have long speculated when they would put themselves forward as a potential Major organizer. Well known for their BLAST Premier circuit, they will be heading back to the Royal Arena in Copenhagen shortly following the IEM Rio Major for their Fall Finals on November 23rd.

The time seems to be right for BLAST to host a Major if the comments made recently by Managing Director Charlotte Kenny are anything to go by. In an interview conducted by pley.gg, the director stated that "BLAST is always interested in hosting a Major" and that "when the time is right, we will do a Major".

I'm *sure* it has to do with the author's mood: red = angry, gold = confident, etc.
