Stewie2K logs career-best performance in return to competition
Jake "Stewie2K" Yip bested his previous HLTV rating record on a single map in a godlike performance against MIGHT while standing in for Wildcard in the PGL Astana 2025 North America Closed Qualifier.
Stew had a slow start in the first matches of the PGL Astana NA Closed Qualifier, but showed that he can still put up numbers in the server at the expense of MIGHT, in the group A final.
Stewie2K helped Wildcard secure a spot in final four with an incredible display on Dust2. The ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018 champion went 23-5 overall with a nigh-on perfect first half, where he went 21-4 to lead Wildcard to an 11-1 advantage on their CT side.
The American star registered a career-high 2.87 rating, which bests his previous high of 2.63 in a map against Kinguin in 2018 when he was playing for MIBR.
