PGL Astana 2025 NA Closed Qualifier reaches final four

Three matches are left in the PGL Astana 2025 North America Closed Qualifier as Wildcard, M80, NRG, and BLUEJAYS are the only teams alive in the competition. Wildcard and M80 will play the first semifinal today at 06:00PM and NRG v. BLUEJAYS is scheduled for 09:00PM.

The Closed Qualifier for PGL Astana kicked off with 32 teams, including some lineups who play at the ESEA Advanced level, but the best teams had no trouble making a deep run.

Wildcard, who is playing with Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, breezed past Daaku, Chicken Coop, and MIGHT to top group A. BLUEJAYS, on the other hand, won group B after moving past regain, Bad News Capybaras, and Getting Info.

NRG only dropped one map in group C and defeated Party Astronauts, Tsunami, and Nouns on their way to the semifinals. M80 also had no problem beating Northern Cossacks, Vagrants, and Marsborne in group D.

Only one of Wildcard, M80, NRG, and BLUEJAYS will qualify for PGL Astana 2025. The semifinal winners will play one another in a high-stakes best-of-five this Tuesday, 06:00PM to decide who fly to Kazakhstan in May.
