Breaking: BLAST Rivals Monterrey shelved; event moved to Copenhagen

BLAST have today announced in breaking news that the BLAST Rivals Monterrey event will no longer take place as planned due to undisclosed "logistical challenges", with the NA LAN now taking place at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. The sudden announcement comes less than a month before the LAN was set to take place and sees NA lose one three marquee LAN events this year, with Monterrey originally planned to take place alongside IEM Dallas 2025 and the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

BLAST's post on X announcing the event being moved is light on details with BLAST only confirming that they will not be heading to Mexico in any capacity while hoping they will be able to return in future.
