Cloud9 end Zellsis trial
Cloud9 have announced today that they have ended the trial of Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro. The player linked with the American organization back in December as a stand-in trial player while Maikil "Golden" Selim recovered from an illness that had incapacitated him since November.
His most notable event during his brief tenure was at the IEM Katowice Major 2019. Although the team would fail to make playoffs, they secured their spot for the StarLadder Berlin Major by picking up wins against MIBR and HellRaisers.
Additionally, Zellsis helped Cloud9 achieve a second-place finish at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019 where the team picked up wins against BIG and FaZe before eventually falling to FaZe in a 2-1 rematch.
Zellsis' departure follows a flurry of changes for the team, with Cloud9 announcing the departure of Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and the return of Golden on Saturday. For now, Zellsis is team-less however a report from Rush B Media suggests that Zellsis may be returning to Swole Patrol. The team looking to rebuild following the departure of the majority of their players to eUnited back in January.
As such, Cloud9's roster is now:

Cloud9 will be on the lookout for a new fifth as they are slated to attend BLAST Pro Series: Miami 2019 on April 12th.
