Jonji requests assistance on GoFundMe to support family
Jonathan "Jonji" Carey has released a Twitlonger, describing his families' recent struggles and requesting funds via a GoFundMe campaign to help support his family with living expenses.
In the TwitLonger, Jonji discusses that around two and a half years ago, while his CS:GO career was just starting, his grandfather passed away from cancer and his father became ill with rheumatoid arthritis resulting in his extended family moving in together to share expenses. This situation eventually ended when the expenses related to such a large household became unmanageable, resulting in Jonji and his father moving into a separate home together.
While this was happening Jonji's CS:GO career took off with him the opportunity to join Rise Nation and travel around the world playing with the team. However, when his tenure ended with Rise Nation, he made the decision to return home, finish high school, and help his father with the bills at home.
Jonji is requesting $6,500 to help pay for rent and other expenses while his father resolves his medical insurance claim.
