compLexity fall to Luminosity in Group B elimination match

The new roster of compLexity with Peter “ptr” Gurney and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker falls to the new roster of Luminosity with Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato and Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes to exit the tournament.

compLexity, who lost to Cloud9, and Luminosity, who lost to Immortals, first met on Inferno, Luminosity’s map pick. compLexity got off to a great start on the T side, going 6-0 and finishing off the half 9-6, with Rory “dephh” Jackson leading the pack. coL even started the second half well, winning the first three rounds, but after that they couldn’t stop Vinicios “PKL” Coelho’s T side. chelo and Gustavo “SHOOWTiME” Gonçalves ran over compLexity and cleaned up the map 16-13.

The first half of Train was quite close the whole way through, with compLexity finally winning 8 CT rounds, but Alec “ Slemmy” White couldn’t figure out LG’s game plan, and coL’s T side collapsed. New Luminosity member NEKIZ rolled over the American-Canadian-British squad and took the second map 16-10.

This series shows more that compLexity still has work to do rather than Luminosity making it to the next level. Luminosity will now face Cloud9 in the decider match later today for a spot in the playoffs.
