zews "fired" from PGL Bucharest 2025 broadcast after just one day, Vince steps in
Wilton "zews" Prado has been relieved from his commentator duties at PGL Bucharest 2025 after casting just two games with Anders Blume on the official English broadcast on Sunday, April 6th.
zews himself confirmed the news last night in a reply to CS2 content creator Ozzny on X. Apparently, Anders will commentate games alongside Vince Hill for the remainder of PGL Bucharest 2025 as the two worked together in The MongolZ v. Apogee broadcast this morning, April 7th.
This was the first time the two-time CS:GO Major champion worked as a commentator for the official broadcast of a tournament.
Our sister website Dust2.dk reached out to PGL on-site to ask why zews was fired, but the Romanian tournament organizer declined to comment.
zews' casting at PGL Bucharest 2025 sparked mixed reactions from the CS2 community, with some pointing out that he was "yapping" too much. He and Anders commentated Aurora v. paiN and FURIA v. Apogee on the B stream.
According to zews, however, the community "wasn't ready" for his casting.
"Thanks ozzny, who knows, maybe I'll bring some content soon if I can find out how to correctly express myself," zews wrote on X.
While this is obviously bad news for zews, it's the opposite for Vince. The veteran hasn't worked in a tier-one CS2 event since the Perfect World Shanghai Major in December 2024, so he'll love the opportunity to work on PGL Bucharest 2025.
