Complexity topple EliGE and FaZe to grab first playoff berth in 2025
Complexity are through the PGL Bucharest 2025 playoffs — their first in 2025 — after convincingly taking down Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and FaZe this Wednesday, April 9th. This was the first time Complexity and EliGE faced one another after parting ways at the start of the year, and the former got the better of it.
FaZe picked Dust2, Complexity's worst map in the past three months. But, it totally backfired against FaZe as Complexity were on top of their game on the T-side. The North Americans secured a 9-3 advantage for the second half and easily wrapped up the map.
The series moved to Anubis, Complexity's home turf, and unlike Dust2, it was full of back-and-forth action. For a moment, it looked like FaZe would tie the series as Complexity's economy was seriously jeopardized in the second half, but the North Americans managed to scrape a victory thanks to back-to-back B-site hits.
Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli truly came forth for Complexity in the series as he was their top-fragger in both maps.
EliGE and FaZe will have one more opportunity to reach the playoffs of PGL Bucharest 2025 while Complexity will have some time to rest and prepare for the playoffs.
