Complexity replace Spirit in IEM Melbourne 2025 team list

ESL has invited Complexity to replace Spirit in the upcoming IEM Melbourne, which kicks off on April 21st. The Australian tournament kicks off days after the North American Major Regional Qualifier (MRQ) for the BLAST.tv Austin Major, which runs April 15th to 17th.

Complexity will only attend IEM Melbourne because Spirit withdrew from the event and G2, FURIA, Astralis, Wildcard, B8, and HEROIC declined to replace the Russian team either for personal reasons or difficulties to obtain visas in time, according to ESL.

Nonetheless, this presents an excellent opportunity for Complexity to attend one more LAN before the BLAST.tv Austin Major, which they still have to qualify for. The Australian LAN features most of the top teams in the world, so it's a good chance for Complexity to test themselves.

Complexity have been playing exceptionally well lately and find themselves in the semifinals of PGL Bucharest 2025 after knocking out Aurora this Friday, April 11th.
