BLUEJAYS bench Wolffe in shock move

Last night BLUEJAYS shockingly announced the removal of Kyle "⁠Wolffe⁠" Greenfield from the team's ranks, seeing the star rifler out of the lineup three months after joining BOSS in early January. The move has raised eyebrows across the NA scene as BLUEJAYS have been on a rapid upward trajectory in recent months, winning Fragadelphia x Block 2025 in March, qualifying to BLAST.tv Austin Major NA MRQ, and recently locking in a top spot in ESL Challenger League Season 49 playoffs.

It is hard to dispute that Wolffe has been a key part of this success, with the 23-year-old rifler putting up impressive numbers and performance with BLUEJAYS. Wolffe currently boasts a 1.17 rating over 90 maps this year while also having his fair share of highlights.

Thus far his former teammates have been quiet publicly on why Wolffe was ousted. Wolffe told Dust2.us that his team allegedly cut him for not playing the entry roles the team needs at this time; something Wolffe feels is a reversal of the lurk and anchor roles he was originally picked up to fill. Overall Wolffe described his removal from the team as unprofessional, childish, and amoral with him saying that arguments in the team were normal after losses with the team always trying to find someone to blame.

Dust2.us reached out to IGL Wyatt "⁠snav⁠" Phillippi for the team's point of view, but did not hear back ahead of publication.

While BLUEJAYS are yet to announce a replacement for Wolffe, the team fielded Derek "dare" Brown last night in ESL Challenger League Season 49, and with the BLAST.tv Austin Major NA MRQ right around the corner it is hard to imagine BLUEJAYS using anyone else at this late juncture.

BLUEJAYS will be back in action tonight in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 against LOBOARMY as the team looks to recover from an opening loss to Daaku.
