JT said everybody is working hard and it shows up on the server

JT: "If Grim keeps it up, we can definitely keep winning"

Grim is currently the second-highest-rated player in the tournament.

Complexity have collected yet another scalp this Friday, April 11th as they upset Aurora in the quarterfinals of PGL Bucharest 2025. The team have been on top of their game lately, having lost only one series of 16 played since March 5th.

Jan "DOMiNA7HOR" Lindberg, a reporter from our sister website Dust2.dk, caught up with Johnny "JT" Theodosiou after Complexity defeated Aurora and asked him about this series, his new role on T-side, Grim's current form, and more.

What a crazy game this was, especially against a team like Aurora, but I want to hear it from your perspective. Tell us a bit of what happened in the game.

We played well, I'm happy with that, and I think we could have actually won Anubis as well, and Aurora is probably the best team in the world on Anubis. So, having a close game on that map was pretty impressive.

hallzerk played amazingly, I think his 1v3 clutch was one of the best clutches I've seen. I'm actually very impressed with that and just happy that we made the semis.

How proud are you of this victory going into the semifinals?

I'm very proud of the boys, we've been putting a lot of work in. They have been working really hard and it's showing on the server.

We also everyone had their fair share of moments, like nicx on Anubis, you on Train, and hallzerk on Nuke. We've seen that you're taking more initiative, especially on T-side. What do you think of your performance lately?

I think it's still 50-50 for me, I had some bad games today and against G2 the other day. So, it's just something that I'm still working on, but I think I'm really comfortable calling in my current role and I think our T-sides have been among the best we had so far.

Everyone is just really comfortable right now in their roles and you can see it in the server because everyone is playing really well. We have different people showing up on the top of the scoreboard on each map, and I think one of our strengths right now is that everyone is feeling comfortable. We just have to see how it goes in the future because I'm still obviously learning those roles and haven't been playing those roles for a long time.

Speaking of roles, Grim has been playing magnificently well lately. What are your thoughts on his form at the moment?

I think Grim is an incredible player, I'm surprised that sometimes it takes so long for him to get into the game like last year and the year before. But this year with the new guys, he has been a lot more comfortable and a lot more confident in the server.

Everyone can see it, especially on Train as he's doing an amazing job on Train. He's definitely our star player on that map along with hallzerk. I'm just hoping he keeps it up because if he keeps that up, we can definitely keep winning.

You could play versus G2 tomorrow, who beat you in the group stage, in the semifinals. How will you prepare for this next game and possibly, for the grand finals?

I'm just taking it game per game. For me, every game is kind of the same and I'll just prepare like I usually would. We'll see how it feels on the server when we get there because it's a semifinal now and it's going to be a big game.

This was also the first playoff game for Cxzi and nicx and we won, so hopefully this experience helps in the next game and we don't come out as nervous as we did on Anubis, in my opinion. I'm just going to see how it goes.

Who do you rather play, G2 or Virtus.pro?

I'd like to play G2 again, just because they beat us in the group stage, and I always like having rematches like that.
