CLG eliminate Gale Force in DH Open

Gale Force has fallen 0-2 to Counter Logic Gaming in the Group A losers match.

The series to determine which team would go home and which would continue in the event began on Gale Force’s pick Overpass. Gale Force actually got off to a good start, winning the pistol and the anti-force buy round after, and despite losing the third round, reset CLG and went 5-1. However, after this, it is a sad tale of despair for the Gale Force camp. They lose the rest of the first half, and even after winning the first 4 rounds of the second half, they again were swept to a 9-16 loss.

Cache was an even sadder affair for the Argentinians, as they could only muster a single round the entire game, been ripped apart by Ethan “nahtE” Arnold and co. This shouldn’t have been too much of a surprise however, as this is the first big LAN for the Gale Force guys, and having to use a stand-in doesn’t help. This game against CLG, and especially their game against North yesterday, will serve as valuable experience moving forward.

CLG will now face Kinguin later in the decider match to decide who will advance to the playoffs.
