ECL S49 Week 3-4 Recap - BLUEJAYS continue to rule the roost

ESL Challenger League Season 49 was finally back in action this week after two weeks of inactivity due to a busy schedule full of qualifiers interrupting league play. With the league being back in full swing, there were a number of important developments as BLUEJAYS entered the NA scene with the signing of BOSS, while Party Astronauts disbanded, and Alter Iron parted ways with their troubled ECL lineup.

League play this week notably saws BLUEJAYS/BOSS pick up four more wins with decisive victories over Chicken Coop and Aetheris, while Nouns also went 4-0 with wins over Marsborne and Chicken Coop, although the latter squad surprisingly gave them some trouble.

Despite losing Anthony "vanity" Malaspina, Getting Info have continued their perfect season, adding six wins to the tally with 2-0 victories over SUPER EVIL Gang, Marsborne, and LAG. Week four was largely free of notable upsets, with the likes of Chicken Coop, LAG, and especially SUPER EVIL GANG struggling immensely as we approach the mid-point of the season. SUPER EVIL GANG and InControl currently sit at the bottom of the league with 0-12 and 0-8 records, respectively.

Finally, Legacy have confirmed to Dust2.us that they are set to arrive next week, with the team's task being to climb out of a 0-4 record brought on by two forfeits this week.
