ECL S49 Week 2 Recap - BOSS and Party Astronauts remain on top, vagrants take impressive scalps

The second week of ESL Challenger League has wrapped up, with nearly every team in action but notably Legacy still haven't played any matches.

Getting Info advanced to 6-0 after securing a 2-0 win against the struggling Chicken Coop, who fell to 2-8. vagrants should be happy with their performance this week, as they were able to take a map off of each NRG and Party Astronauts to move to 3-3. NRG, Party Astronauts, and BOSS are all tied for first with eight wins, although the latter two teams have only two losses compared to NRG's four.

BOSS v. NRG was the premier match of the week, with the two sides taking a map off of each other in the top-of-the-table clash. Nick "nitr0" Cannella's side took the first map of the double best-of-one in convincing fashion over BOSS, winning 13-3 on Mirage. BOSS would answer back with a 16-14 win on Anubis to ensure they didn't leave the matchup empty-handed.

The surprise team of the week was vagrants, as they were able to take a game each from table-topping NRG and Party Astronauts after going 1-1 against Chicken Coop in Week 1.

At the bottom of the standings, LAG went 0-2 to fall to 1-9 while InControl and Alter Iron did not play any matches and remain at 0-8.
